This was a lovely read, and that last reframing is so powerful. I think, just like finance, behavior change is so complex and discouraging because it’s highly akin to that compounding interest.

Thanks! Thats one of the reasons intention is so important. Understanding yours can keep you coming back to the cushion even when things seemingly aren’t progressing.

This year has been about accepting that “what is, is right.”

I’m rooted in the present and meeting the energy where it is… but there’s still a vision for my future.

I appreciate your insights.

Discipline is where the vision starts to compound.

Appreciate that. I might suggest “what is, is here already” as a slight tweak. What’s here might be good, bad, or indifferent, but like it or not it’s here regardless. But, if we’re aware of it, we have choices to move away from what doesn’t feel right. Without awareness, you’re just stuck acting out your conditioned responses.
